Stephanie Batey

After a successful 13 years in the education sector as a Secondary English Teacher and having held positions in Leadership, Steph left the profession in 2022 to pursue her businesses full time.

Steph and her partner, Phil, own Bluestone Key Properties and have a mixed portfolio of buy-to-lets, social housing and serviced accommodation. Having developed her self-leadership skills through her career, combined with her passion for helping people excel, this led her to start her own coaching and training practice in 2020.

Since then, she has successfully trained, coached, mentored and supported those in property – from beginners who want a solid education to invest safely, and to be guided by a qualified teacher and coach, to those who are well on their property journey and need to excel their leadership skills.

Steph is also a consultant for the largest Neurodiversity charity in Europe and a qualified ADHD Coach, with a passion for helping business owners who are neurodiverse.

If you want to buy into the hype and believe that you can be financially free within a year of starting in property investment, this book isn’t for you.

If you want to be inspired by the challenges, triumphs, lessons and successes of women in property, all shattering their own glass ceilings, then this is the book for you.

In this compelling anthology, we bring together the candid narratives of these women in property – from seasoned investors, to those just beginning their foray into property investment. Each chapter will offer an insight into each of their experiences – the highs, the lows, the wins, the woes.

This book isn’t just about celebrating individual achievements through their voices in each chapter; it’s about empowering and inspiring women from all walks of life to pursue property as an avenue to build wealth and a lasting legacy, whilst promoting inclusivity and equality along the way.

These women share their successes, setbacks and wisdom gained along the way. Regardless of their level of experience or background, each woman’s voice represents a barrier broken in what can feel like a heavily male-dominated industry. We want to help shift those stereotyped perceptions that property is a man’s world and show that women are not only capable, but can transform into formidable forces driving their businesses forward to craft the lives that they want and deserve.
